Our December 2014 Tour Celebrates Hanukkah in Israel

Israel Discovery Tours offers three Value departures a year for our adult travelers. The Value Tours uses the identical itinerary as the Deluxe Tours; the only difference being the selection of hotels. We use the best hotels in their class in terms of quality and location including: The Inbal Hotel Jerusalem, Isrotel Ganim Dead Sea, Herods Palace Eilat, Galei Kinnereth Tiberias, and The David Intercontinental Tel Aviv. All of these hotels offer the level of service and comfort for which our tour is famous at a more moderate price.

After five nights in Jerusalem, the group will travel to the Dead Sea to have an unsinkable swim and spend the night at the lowest place on Earth. From there, it’s on to the southernmost point in Israel – the resort city of Eilat. A much needed break in the middle of the tour, we have a fantastic lunch cruise with snorkeling on the Red Sea and plenty of time to enjoy the beaches or the spa facilities at the hotel. In order to avoid long bus ride, we fly north from Eilat to continue our tour in the Galilee. The tour will end in Israel’s most modern city; Tel Aviv. Our passengers will have time to reflect on their two weeks exploring the history of Israel and the Jewish people and they will experience the future of Israel in this exciting metropolis.

On Saturday night the group will celebrate at our festive Farewell Gala Banquet, complete with great food, music and dancing. We will share our experiences, have a good laugh and a good cry and, at the end of the night, we will all hold hands as one and sing “Hatikvah” The Hope. And although this journey of discovery will come to an end, the impressions, memories and connection to Israel will never end.
