Summer 2017 with Israel Discovery Tours

israel discovery tours jerusalem haifa

What a great group of celebrants! 17 Bar & Bat Mitzvah’s – WOW!

The first three days of their unforgettable Israel experience were spent touring in the beautiful and historic city of Jerusalem while staying at the luxurious and world – renowned Waldorf Astoria.

The next stop on their journey was Northern Israel. While staying at the brand new U Boutique Kinneret Hotel in Tiberias, our group toured the Golan Heights, Safed, Rosh Hanikra and so much more.

After two days in the north it was time to head south to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth for an unsinkable float. Our overnight at the Dead Sea allows us to fully enjoy this unique region and be well rested for Masada. We eliminate the exhausting pre-dawn trip from Jerusalem to Masada and back again.

The families woke up early the next morning for the highlight of the tour – the Bar/Bat Mitzvah service on top of Masada. Here, on this historic spot, a place that symbolizes the spirit of the Jewish people, the children became Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Our private service takes place as the sun rises over the desert landscape. It was an unforgettable moment for the entire family.

After the thrill and emotion of Jerusalem and Masada, the group traveled to Eilat to relax and enjoy the beach and our fabulous yacht cruise with lunch and snorkeling. Saturday afternoon our group will arrive in Tel Aviv – the vibrant city that never sleeps. We fly back from Eilat to Tel Aviv as we always avoid long tiring drives.

While in Tel Aviv the group will visit (among other things) the Tel Maresha Dig located at Beit Guvrin, where they’ll have the rare opportunity to experience hands-on archaeology and perhaps make a few discoveries of their own as the dig and sift for authentic artifacts. Fun for the whole family!

The group will end the tour with our fabulous Bar/Bat Mitzvah banquet at the Tel Aviv Hilton – the very best hotel in Tel Aviv. The party is a festive celebration with music, dancing, cake cutting and a candle lighting ceremony. A wonderful evening!
